What the Pho?!?

Pho Saigon Restaurant

Restaurant Info: Pho Saigon has only been open since November of 2010. We were actually looking for a beauty salon and on our way to eat Mexican food when we spotted this hidden treasure. It is located at 1160 El Paseo Rd. #D 12-14, Las Cruces, NM 88001. It is in the old shopping plaza behind Long John Silver's and Burger King on El Paseo, a little closer to Goodyear Tire. It looks like an empty plaza but I promise it is there. Phone number: (575) 652-4326. Open 7 days, 9am to 10pm.

Dinero: Cash, card or check.

Atmosphere: It is a nice sized restaurant. No booths, but really comfortable tables and chairs. It has a really nice Vietnamese theme as far as the decorations. I felt really comfortable and had a great time eating here. Oh, and for my fellow OCD amigos, Mr. Clean would approve of the restaurant and bathrooms himself.

Customer service: Our server was extremely friendly and kept checking on us and refilling our drinks even though the restaurant was busy. A big two thumbs up for service. Our food came out quick and was noodle-licous!!!

thực phẩm (Food): We ate Pho. Pho what? Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of a clear meaty broth filled with rice noodles, cuts of meat, and topped with fresh green herbs. It is eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner and after eating at Pho Saigon I now know why.

We started off with some delicious eggrolls.

Esmeralda ordered the Noodle with Sliced Fresh Chicken Pho. All this food for only $6.99
Carrie ordered the Vermicelli w/BBQ Pork, Shrimp and Egg Roll.

We brought a friend with us this time. And if you can guess who it is we'll bring you along with us to our next LC Gorditas review!
Our mystery guest also had some Pho but they chose the Noodle with Rare Steak Pho. Yes, rare! The delicious beefy broth cooks the steak for you!

If you're not in the mood for soup, come for their rice dishes, house specials and family dinners. The food is amazing and you can't beat their prices. If you have never eaten Vietnamese food before you need to visit Pho Saigon...Pho Sho!

Caution:
1. Pho fills you up fast. Leave room for their Three Color dessert, it looked amazing.
2. You may see us there often, we plan on becoming Pho groupies.
3. You may find yourself substituting your vocabulary with the word 'pho'. I don't know why but I haven't been able to stop.
